PENY X1C Carbon Elemental Analyzer is composed of four parts: host machine, electronic balance, computer and printer. (Above picture is the product model for your reference) These four parts have different functions during analysis. Electronic balance of carbon analyzer is used for weighing the sample weight before analyzing. Computer of carbon elemental analyzer performs function of data collection, calculation, database management.  The analysis host machine of carbon combustion analyzer is mainly consists of high-frequency heating equipment, gas path system, carbon and sulfur signal detection system, and control device.

Our carbon determinator is mainly used in the analysis of carbon content of black metals, non-ferrous metals, rare earth metals, inorganic substances, ores, and ceramics etc in metallurgical, mechanical, inspection, scientific research, chemical and other industries. This model carbon combustion analyzer adopts an integrated design of the whole machine. The analysis method of this carbon determination analyzer is based on international standard ISO 9556, the sensitivity can reach 0.00001%. Carbon Elemental Analyzer Analysis Process


1. Sample Weighing  

Take a pre treated crucible with a crucible clamp and place it gently on the weighing plate of the carbon determination analyzer balance (centered). The balance will automatically remove the weight of the crucible, and the weighing display window of the analysis software will display 0.0000 again (this process is called crucible peeling). If 0.0000 is not displayed, press the F3 key to remove the weight of the crucible again. Take 0.3g or 0.5g of sample with a sample spoon and place it in a crucible. 

2. Add Fluxing Agent 

Scoop out a flat spoon of tungsten flux, about 1.5-2.0g, and evenly cover it on the sample.

3. Crucible Reset

Press the Up/Down button of the carbon determination analyzer high-frequency furnace to lower the crucible holder. Use a crucible clamp to pick up the crucible that has been added with fluxing agent and place it gently on the quartz crucible holder. Press the Up/Down button on the carbon analyzer to raise the crucible holder into place.

4. Automatic Analysis

Click the "Analyze" button on the analysis software, and the carbon analyzer will enter the automatic analysis stage. The real-time analysis curve display bar starts dynamically displaying the carbon analysis curve, and the analysis result bar displays the detected carbon percentage content.

5. Analysis Finished 

At the end of the analysis, carbon determinator will perform a 1-second ash removal.
